Hex Design in Willow Structure
1. Before beginning, make a tape grid using waterproof florists' tape. Place a bunch of pussy willow into the #4040 vase and spread it out evenly. With several more pieces of willow, make a three dimensional grid by wiring them to the vertical placements. This should feel fairly secure when you touch it.

2. Place taped wires through the grape cluster (fresh or artificial) and position. Place flowers through the grid levels and into the water. The 3-D grid will support flowers with weak stems or heavy heads of flowers such as peony roses, hydrangeas or lilies.

3. Finish the design and accent with greens.

4. Add Aquaplus® The Difference is Clear to keep water clear and flowers fresh.

This flexible design technique is great for glass. The willow grid can be made weeks in advance and the design created later. This is an attractive way to support weak or shorter stems and is a dramatic design for parties.
